On Wednesday Fr.Gensemer met with the Ugandan Bishops, including Bishop Samuel Lubogo, Bp. Francis Gogo, Bp. Yusto Mehereza, and Bishop Hannington Bahemuka. These Bishops and their wives were greatly encouraged by the message of life and especially to be equipped in such a way as to understand the spiritual significance of the battle for the Sanctity of Life. Fr. Terry reported on an article in the daily Ugandan paper which was deceitfully pointing out the beauty of small Ugandan families while subtly promoting abortion and sterilization. The Bishops were encouraged to uncover the pro-death forces and not to compromise with them over issues affecting their deep faith in God and the scriptures.
