Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya!

Today we joined with the Bishops from Kenya and one from Uganda to hear our Patriarch formulate the vision and mission to these courageous African men of faith. The Patriarch stirred their hearts with hope as he began to lay out a strategy that would energize their clergy and laity in this region.

One of the results of the meetings today was to appoint Bishop Peter Chunge as the CEC For Life representative in Africa. Bishop Chunge will work with Canon Terry Gensemer to provide information to Africans and to promote a culture of life throughout the continent that will confront the culture of death being heavily promoted in this region of the world. We thank God for the CEC in Africa and their willingness to stand for the Sanctity of Life.
